Christina Hendricks
Christina Hendricks (born April 15 1977) is an American actress best well-known for her character Joan Holloway during the first seven seasons of the historical drama on AMC's Mad Men. The series has earned her six Emmy nominations for the best supporting actress and deserved praise from critics. Since her time in the industry, which has spanned over twenty years, she's also become known for her work on the legal-drama Kevin Hill comedy series Another Period crime-drama drama Tin Star and comedy-crime series Good Girls. Her most well-known work is her roles in Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River Neon Demon Strangers Prey In Night Egg, American Woman and The Neon Demon. Also, her voice can be heard on the animated film From Up on Poppy Hill Toy Story 4 & Scoob! Before that, she was working as a model, and kept it going for quite a while before making her acting debut in the television show Undressed in 1999. The actress had her first big role in the comedy-drama series Beggars and Choosers. After that, she was praised for the part she played in Firefly. Esquire magazine honoured her with the title of sexiest and best-looking American woman for 2010, in their annual poll.
